I had the same problem in user authentication but in version 2.0 in 2.1 I didn't get it

@BigBoss Multimedia Get both if you want. but use 2.0. because 2.1 doesn't have its accompanying apps yet.

@yousssouph ndiour well I had to start all over again, pls use 1.8 to create the database then update to 2.0 then 2.1 it should work

@Seraj Elhouni Am thinking your installation didn't finish.. The solution for this is opening your php.ini file in your webserver(xampp etc) and adjusting the max_execution_time=120 to max_execution_time=-1 which means infinite. Then restart your server and start the installation all over.
If not the case, explain more clearly.

this is how your php.ini file should look

For me, i do alot of stuff, so most of my extensions are on

 

 

execution time, this is used for time out when running SQL queries...

@BigBoss Multimedia You didn't do a fresh install. That could be your problem. You probably updated it, but not well enough
Start your fresh install of v2.1, you can clear your db in advance too
