Secure Email Change is a simple additional component that adds an added level of security to email change, making it harder to break an account. Before the user can change their e-mail address, an e-mail will be sent to their current e-mail address with a link to click. This ensures that only the real account owner can change the email address. After clicking the link, the user can continue the email change process in the usual way.
