This is what i did that works for me:

1. Make sure you have php 7.4 running

1.5 Just click next on the install pages, place database info, then next again, even if its showing error messages

2 Make sure Curl is installed and active in your php

3. Delete the install folder if its still there , mine asked to delete automatically before proceeding to login, very important

4. Be sure to run /modules at the backend , and install everywhere it gives the option to install .
