After updating or adding a new product, clear the cache of the website from the header in admin panel and then refresh the website, you'll see your product there.

When adding a product, there is an option at the bottom for "Product Status" (Enabled or Disabled). You need to set it to "Enabled." That part must be active.

No, it won’t be deleted, but update sequentially. First, update from 1.1 to 1.2, and then from 1.2 to 1.3.
