his main problem was that he had to restart Node.js to activate the plugin.
I'll try to fix this in future versions because some hosting providers don't support automatic plugin activation.

I would like to suggest a possible improvement:

Currently, when an admin installs a plugin, it becomes visible to all users. Would it be possible to add control over this behavior?

For example:

- User A does not need the Phone Book plugin

- User B does need the Phone Book plugin

It would be very useful if the admin had the ability to manage which plugins are visible to which specific users, rather than applying them globally to everyone.

I believe this per-user plugin access control would greatly improve the flexibility of the system.

Yes, someone here gave me the idea before, and I told them I would implement it, but not in the next release.
The next release is simple and only includes some fixes.
However, the idea will be implemented in the main release, which will include:
- Linking the permissions of plugin features in the Plan system and also for users.
- For plugins that use sending messages, these messages will be counted as part of the user's limited message allowance.

On this case, you can install RBAC Manager, you can set "What feature for User only" and manage them with roles. Hope this featuree helpfully.

I don't use Hindi, so I can't really say. But I believe it supposed to work with all languages.

Excellent work, sir! I have tried this plugin, and everything is working normally.

However, I have a few suggestions for this plugin:

1. Character Support: If possible, please allow the use of special characters in "Audio Alias" and "Video Alias" so they can be more unique, rather than being limited to just numbers and text.

2. Success Messages: After successfully sending a video, a "Download Success" message appears, which is great. However, when sending audio/MP3 files, this message does not appear; it only sends the audio file. It might be better to include the success message for audio as well.

3. Status Notifications: When using the Target Number feature [alias] [number] [url], the process works and the file is successfully sent to the destination. However, the user who issued the command does not receive a reply confirming whether the request is being processed or if it was successful. It would be helpful if we received information regarding the processing status and final confirmation of the delivery.

Overall, this plugin is incredibly helpful for video editors to download sound and video references. I hope these suggestions can be considered for future development. Regardless, thank you to Mr. @Magd Almuntaser and the plugin developer By MPWA Club @paijoojiap for releasing such cool tools.

I’d like to report several issues I encountered while using Media Downloader v1.0.0 (MPWA Club):

1. TikTok Short URL (vt.tiktok.com) Not Supported

When using a TikTok short link (e.g. https://vt.tiktok.com/...), the bot responds with:

“Invalid link or unsupported platform.”

However, this link is valid and redirects to a standard TikTok video URL. It seems the plugin does not resolve shortened URLs before processing.

2. TikTok MP3 Download – No File Delivered

When requesting MP3 from a normal TikTok URL:

• Status shows: Done (100%)

• Message says: “Here is the download result you requested.”

But no audio file is actually sent.

So the process appears successful, but the output is missing.

3. YouTube Music - Not Supported

When using a YouTube Music link (e.g. https://music.youtube.com/...), the bot returns:

“Invalid link or unsupported platform.”

Given that YouTube is listed as supported, it would be helpful if:

• music.youtube.com links are supported, or

• Automatically converted to youtube.com/watch?v=...

Expected Behavior

• Support or auto-resolve TikTok short links (vt.tiktok.com)

• Ensure MP3 downloads actually deliver the audio file

• Add support or fallback handling for YouTube Music URLs

I think its possible but going too far.

From my perspective, this concept definitely has value, especially for automating content workflows like buy/sell posts. Turning WhatsApp into an entry point for media that gets stored or uploaded (e.g., to YouTube) could be very useful.

That said, I think it’s important to highlight that this would be significantly more complex than a typical plugin feature.

Some considerations from my side:

- Media handling: WhatsApp media usually needs to be downloaded and processed immediately, so this would require a proper pipeline (queue, temporary storage, retry handling).

- YouTube upload: This involves OAuth, quota limits, and processing delays—not just a simple API call.

- Privacy & consent: Automatically uploading or storing user media would need clear opt-in and careful handling.

- Storage: Images/videos can accumulate quickly, so retention or external storage would be necessary.

- Scope: This feels more like a small automation system (pipeline) rather than a single plugin feature.

Conclusion:

I think it’s a great idea, but more suitable as a staged or separate system rather than something directly embedded into the current plugin.
