April 30Apr 30 From my perspective!First, we use Magd's WhatsApp Gateway, so we follow their Terms of Service, including the Marketplace policies. They even regularly post updates to this forum. This is excellent.Second, the marketplace operates centrally within Magd, so it makes sense. Even when a plugin is removed from the marketplace, we're notified in this forum.

You're overthinking it.This is simply about understanding how the marketplace system works so users know and can take the necessary actions. For example, users who use MPWA as a SaaS can inform their members/ subscribers that plugins may disappear at any time and become unusable. That way, if a plugin becomes unavailable in the future, the SaaS owner won’t be blamed.

If a plugin goes missing, it's a business risk for you, having chosen an infrastructure controlled by another programmer. Avoiding "member blame" by shifting responsibility to the lead programmer is somewhat unethical. In any ecosystem (Play Store/App Store/WP), developers have the right to withdraw their products. The difference here is that the main programmers are honest and transparent in the forums. If you want your members to be safe and not feel like they're losing out, you should code your own plugin locally so you don't have to rely on a centralized marketplace.

Avoiding "member blame" by shifting responsibility to the lead programmer is somewhat unethical. You clearly don’t understand what I’m saying. Is there any sentence from me that states I’m shifting responsibility to the programmer? If a plugin disappears, that is indeed the SaaS owner’s risk. But that risk should not be passed on to members/subscribers either—that’s why it’s necessary to inform them that a plugin may become unavailable at any time. In fact, that is a responsible action toward members/subscribers.And understanding how a marketplace works is a way to minimize business risk. Is there anything wrong with that?Of course, developers have the right to withdraw their plugins.Marketplace systems work differently. In WordPress, when a developer removes a plugin from the repository, plugins that are already installed on users’ servers are not deleted. Are you aware of that?If it works differently in MPWA, then there’s no problem at all. That is entirely the developer’s right, and everyone must comply with the MPWA marketplace terms of service. This is just a simple matter: how the marketplace system works. That’s all. Do you understand?I don't sell SaaS by the way. Edited April 30Apr 30 by Ipo Kane

In other words, does the user not have full control over the files that are already installed and exist on their own server? What if a user heavily depends on a particular plugin for their business, and then it is suddenly removed by the developer? That would certainly be concerning 🙏8 hours ago, Arthur Leywin said:Just by looking at the number of people using the plugin, it's clear that the marketplace has control and knows the number of servers or shared hosting providers using the plugin.Plugin developers cannot delete or modify any plugin installed by users. No plugin is published in the marketplace until it has been fully reviewed. The plugin was removed during the update to version 14.2.1. Understood? The marketplace does not store anything, you only download from it. It only count installation. With every update, files are added and others are removed, just like in previous versions. As done with Autoreply and the themes system, they were removed during updates because they were no longer necessary. The same happened in the latest update. Any user who had installed this plugin had it removed because it was causing conflicts with other plugins. No conflicting code is allowed within the MPWA project, so it was removed. Once the developer finishes updating it, it will be uploaded again to the marketplace and can be installed.

I just wanted to make sure how the marketplace works, because the auto removal of the @Oworock plugin is also a concern for me. It’s clear now that it happened due to a conflict and the plugin was removed during an update.
April 30Apr 30 Community Expert Author I hope this topic does not continue to be discussed extensively. In short:With each update, services are added and others are removed. You can check the releases notes and you will find entries like “Removed bla bla bla.”, "Added bla bla bla", "Fixed bla bla bla"As the developer of this script, when a feature is no longer needed in the script, it gets removed, such as Autoreply and the themes system. The plugin (coexistence) had issues that caused most other plugins to stop working. It was necessary to release version 14.2.1 to remove this plugin from users because it was creating compatibility problems. Otherwise, this forum would be flooded with complaints, reports that MPWA is not working, and numerous private messages. The solution was to remove the plugin with the new update, and that is exactly what happened. There are no privacy violations. Since the script is free, I, as the developer, have the right to remove or add any feature I consider appropriate. This discussion should not be prolonged. If there are doubts about (MPWA), another script can be used. The work here is done voluntarily, and (MPWA) takes significant time and effort without any compensation. Focus should remain on improving (MPWA) into something greater.

And you have worked hard developing, maintaining, and now even reviewing every plugin in the midst of your daily busy schedule. From the beginning, there has never been any doubt—this was just bringing up someone’s concern, which is also quite interesting, regarding how the marketplace works.Thank you for your hard work, all the sacrifices, dedication, and generosity.Go go MPWA! 💪

May 1May 1 @Magd Almuntaser Hi,I'm facing an issue with my admin dashboard. The CPU and RAM usage are not showing at all — it displays "-- MB" instead of actual values. Also, the admin homepage is loading very slowly. Node.js seems to be running in the background, but the system resources (CPU/RAM) are not being detected or displayed. The troubleshoot section shows everything is valid (SSL, cURL, Node config), but still the resource stats are missing.Could you please check if there is any issue with the server monitoring service, Node integration, or API fetching system stats? Please fix this as soon as possible.Thank you.
