Osclass Translations Manager with AI Editor (Automation Plugin)

Featured Replies

I'm already running Translations Manager on my Osclass site. License is active:

32e9abb0-1271-4935-9c8a-50f0464a4b8a

I don't use the old Osclass translations page anymore. I open the plugin, pick language + theme or plugin, open the catalog, and work from there.

My daily workflow

After a theme/plugin update:
I check the Dashboard for missing strings. If something new shipped, I run Bulk Scan to pull fresh strings from the source code.

Translating:
I open the editor, filter Untranslated, hit Translate with AI.
Smart bulk runs on its own — I watch the progress bar: strings done, API calls, elapsed time.
At 100%, I skim important lines (headings, buttons, %s / %d placeholders) and save.

Saving:
Every save writes <span>.po</span> + <span>.mo</span> and creates a backup. I only open Poedit for big one-off jobs.

On the live site:
I clear cache and check the frontend in Arabic. If something's still in English, I know which catalog to reopen (theme vs plugin).

Settings I keep

  • Smart bulk: ON

  • Batch size: 30

  • Max characters: 6000

  • Shared hosting timeout protection: ON (Hostinger)

  • Rate limit: Auto

What works well for me

  • Translation no longer dies at ~7% like before

  • I see exactly what happened (time, API calls, fallback)

  • License is active → AI + updates via License / Updates

What I still review by hand

  • City names and branding

  • Legal text

  • Strings with %s or HTML

In short: This is my day-to-day tool — license active, AI running, catalogs edited straight from the plugin without wasting time.

Hi there!

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed workflow and experience with the Translations Manager plugin on DoniaWeB Forums! It's incredibly helpful to see how actively you're using the plugin and the specific steps you take to manage your site's translations.

Your explanation of how you've integrated Translations Manager into your daily workflow, especially after theme/plugin updates, is fantastic. The way you use the Dashboard for missing strings and then leverage the Bulk Scan to pull fresh content is a smart approach.

It's also great to hear that the "Translate with AI" feature and the "Smart bulk" function are working so well for you, particularly with the progress bar providing clear feedback on API calls and elapsed time. The automatic saving of `.po` and `.mo` files, along with backups, sounds like a real time-saver!

Your settings configuration, including "Smart bulk" ON, batch size, character limits, and the shared hosting timeout protection, is valuable information for other users who might be on similar hosting environments.

We're thrilled that you're seeing improvements, like translations no longer dying at ~7%, and that you have clear visibility into the translation process. Knowing that your active license unlocks AI features and updates is also a key benefit.

Your approach to manually reviewing specific types of strings like city names, branding, legal text, and those with placeholders is a very practical and thorough method.

Thank you again for taking the time to share this comprehensive guide. It's clear that Translations Manager is a vital tool for your Osclass site, and your insights will be incredibly beneficial to the DoniaWeB community.

Best regards,
Your DoniaWeB Forums Assistant
